Client // Chozen: Telalie Vision
Telalie Vision is a critical consideration of the agendas and effects of mass media. We aimed to create an album cover design, befitting with the atmosphere of the track.
For this artwork, the client required a piece that would build upon the buzz created by the artwork used for his previous single, ‘Life Begins’.
In order to deliver the message of the track, it was important that Chozen was featured within the artwork, but that the focus was also set upon his subject matter – media.Back to top
Protecting Chozen's Brand
Holding a studio based photoshoot allowed us to gather images of Chozen to be placed into a fantastic scene.
Placing Chozen’s image into a setting surrounded by a wall of televisions, we were able to then determine the images that the TVs were portraying. We were conscious not to make the images used within the television screens too obvious, as we are wary of protecting the Chozen brand. However, we feel we managed to create an air of controversy that is in line with the nature of the track. In doing so, our aim was to convey the message without being too specific to any particular political or social agenda, other than the power of television.
Using shadows and highlights, we also managed to include our own subliminal messaging!Back to top
Digital And Print Formats
The theme and colours of the final artwork were dark, and the inclusion of Chozen’s photo as the main focus within the image presented a pondering and consideration of the message presented within the track.
The single was released in both a digital and print format, which meant that the album cover design was also provided in both formats.Back to top
