Client // Ronchalon Publishing
Ronchalon Publishing approached JWC to create a bespoke website in order to support the launch of their new book – “From Rubble & Dust” by renowned property designer Marie-Luis Charmat.
The publishing company’s main objective was to accurately reflect the luxurious feel of the properties featured in the book, through the website design. The publisher required the book’s content to be presented in an interesting and exclusive manner, in order to best convey its message to the intended audience. Emphasising on detail and luxury we positioned the content as high-end . Throughout the chapters, detail, history and technique are key to highlight the designer’s experience, exclusivity and passion.Back to top
Subtle Dynamics And Key Imagery
Upon understanding the client’s needs and the ethos of the publication, our creative team decided that the website should depict architectural value with a simple navigation system so as not to detract from the content.
Additionally, we created an intro animation for the website to highlight the publication’s title and subtle dynamics for key imagery across the book’s chapters in order to allow website users to gain a feeling of the properties described.
Other considerations that we’ve taken were to create a flexible environment that will adapt to future publications and make use of the design area without distracting the user from the brand or the product.
The objective was to create an engaging website with a minimalistic but premium design to highlight the luxurious and detailed work of Marie-Luis Charmat.Back to top
The final product is a distinctly visual website that showcased the publication’s values clearly in a surprising manner through distinct animations across the concept.
The way in which the design space has been utilised, without distracting the viewer from the brand or product, whilst demonstrating the history of ‘From Rubble And Dust’, showcased in a contemporary manner.
Additionally, the website was optimised for all platforms and browsers and benefits from dedicated coding in order to be perfectly responsive on a large array of devices (smartphones, tablets and fixed terminals).
